Kevin Young, 50, passed away on August 15, 2021 at Jersey Community Hospital.
He was born on August 11, 1971 to Kenneth & Dorothy (Groves) Young in Alton. He married Sunshine Dunham on June 26, 2010 at the Fieldon United Church of Christ. He was a self-employed landscaper.
Kevin is survived by his wife: Sunshine Young of Fieldon; his sons: Brayden Young and Rylee Young of Fieldon; and siblings: Barb (Harold) McBride of Newburn, Karen Freeman of Fieldon, and Kenny (Lori) Young of Jerseyville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Patricia (Bill) Bland and Carol McCoy, and a brother- in-law: Denny Freeman.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held following the visitation at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
