Kevin Nolle
Golden Eagle | Save
Kevin Nolle, of Golden Eagle, Illinois, passed away on March 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet love and steadfast service to those he held dear.
Born in 1966 in Alton, Illinois, to Roland Nolle and Dr. Jeanne Nolle, Kevin had a warmth about him that drew people in from the very start. He married the love of his life, Sandy Pohlman, in 1985, and together they built a home full of laughter, loyalty, and the kind of love that shows up, not just in words, but in action.
Kevin was a man who let his hands do the talking. Whether it was fixing something that needed fixing or simply showing up when someone needed him, acts of service were his love language. His positivity was contagious, and those around him could not help but feel it. He was never far from his camouflage, his favorite "color," and was happiest outdoors with a fishing line in the water and a Miller Lite in hand, or settling in for hunting season. He also had a gift for making people smile, often without saying a word, thanks to whatever was printed on his T-shirt that day.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Nolle; his four daughters and their families: Courtney and Jeremy Vanover, Brittany and Michael Elliott, Allison and Nate Sagez, and Shelby and Wyatt Revelle; his five beloved grandchildren, Izabella, Cal, and Remy Vanover and Marshall and Lottie Sagez; his father, Roland Nolle; his siblings Rhonda Smith (Farley), Randy Nolle (Lisa), and Kendal Nolle (Becky); and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dr. Jeanne Nolle.
Kevin will be deeply missed, but anyone who ever received his help, his time, or one of his smiles carries a piece of him forward. Those who love him take comfort knowing he is at peace in heaven, and that one day they will see him again.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Mount Hope, 5565 Hamburg Michael Rd., Michael, Illinois 62065. Memorials may be made at the celebration of life.
