Kenneth “Ken” Gregory Lynch, 78, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Alton, died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Eunice Smith Home in Alton. Born January 31, 1937 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Gregory and Irene (Flynn) Lynch. He loved bowling, traveling and wood working. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus (St. Patrick’s Church). He retired in 1998 as a consultant for Dominoes Pizza. On September 9, 2006 he married Kay Trent in Ocean City, New Jersey. She survives. Also surviving is a step-daughter Nicole Jones (Matt) of Jerseyville, a grandchild, Caleb, one brother, Jack Lynch (Colleen) of Pensacola, FL and sister, Phyllis Hughes (Dan) of Sarasota, FL. A memorial mass will be held in Sarasota, FL at a later date. Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice of Alton. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
