Kenneth "Ken" George Sanders Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth George Sanders Jr. announces his passing, on Monday, May 28th, 2018, at the age of 69. Kenny will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Cindy, his children, Matt, Mike (Laura), Sarah, and Steven, as well as Kathy, ex wife and mother to his children. Grandpa Ken will also be fondly remembered by his 6 grandchildren, Jadon, Stella, Carson, Mike Jr., Lola, and Johnny, by his sisters, Lois, Donna, and Michelle. Ken was predeceased by his father, Ken Sr., his mother, Jackie, sister, Mary, and brother, Karl. 

Kenny was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, as well as a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and found his peace in nature. He was also a brave Marine that fought for our country in the Vietnam War. A funeral service in memory of Ken will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10am to 12pm at Hanks-Gress Funeral Home, 145 Community Ave. Brussels, IL 62013, (618) 576-2718. A gathering at Kinder’s Restaurant in Golden Eagle, IL to follow immediately after the service.
