Kenneth Flannery, 49, passed away at 6:24 am on Saturday April 29, 2017.
He was born on January 9, 1968 in Alton, the son of James E. Flannery and Joan (Masiero) Berry.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto and worked as a call handler for Illinois-American Water. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and throwing darts. He won 1st place in the Illinois State Dart Championship, and he loved dogs.
He is survived by his mother, Joan (Masiero) Berry of Bethalto; two sisters and brother-in-laws and one brother and sister-in-law, Ann (Gary) Ballesteros of Bethalto, Robert C. (Robin) Berry of Alton, and Theresa (Chuck) Short of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Flannery, step father Herman Berry, and special friend Gary Bowden.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto
Visitation will continue from 9 am until time of Funeral at 10 am Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto with Pastor Kale Hanson officiating.
Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto with military rites by Alton VFW Post 1308.
