Kenneth Dale Freeman, 47, of Dow, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.He is survived by his soul mate and wife of 20 years, Stephanie Freeman, his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Dr. Fanee Freeman of Bozeman, MT, a nephew, Andrew Freeman of Bozeman, nieces Abby Freeman of Bozeman and Dr. Emily Freeman of Akron, OH, a sister-in-law, Sharon Freeman of Grafton, brother-in-law Dr. Stephen Christy and wife Julie and his father and mother-in-law Dr. Don and Betty Christy of Alton.He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise and older brothers Jeff and Doug.Kenny lived life simply.  He loved the quiet of the outdoors, the release of a trout and the thrill of a fair chase.Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.  Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 709A Wind Rivers Drive in Grafton.  Memorial gifts can be made to the American Lung Association.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
