Kelly Kathleen Etter, 50, passed away at 8:55 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her home.
She was born Nov. 22, 1964 in Alton. Kelly had worked at Red Lobster in Alton.
Survivors include her stepfather, William Shewmaker of Alton; 2 brothers, Michael and Christopher Shewmaker, both of Alton; 7 nieces and nephews; grandmothers Alberta Buckshot of Wood River and Charlotte Britton of Cottage Hills; several aunts and uncles; a step-grandmother Peggy Shewmaker of East Alton; and her father and stepmother, Stanley and Pat Etter of Mt. Sterling, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy D. (Buckshot) Shewmaker.
Services will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or 5 A’s animal shelter.
