Kayla Groff

Kayla E. Groff age 28 of East Alton, Illinois, formerly of Edwardsville, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 15, 1989, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Lavel & Tonia (Frentzel) Moore of Edwardsville. Kayla worked as a hair stylist at SmartStyle Hair Salon in Wood River, Illinois. She married Jeremy J. Groff on August 22, 2015, in Holiday Shores, Illinois, he survives. She is also survived by one son, Maecyn Groff; two daughters, Aedyn Moore, Gabrielle Groff; one brother, Robert G. Hartzell of Maryville, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Irma Jean Castro of St. Louis, and the late Robert Moore; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Mantia & husband John of St. Louis; & maternal grandfather, Elmer Frentzel of Troy, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. The funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the funeral home. She will be cremated according to her wishes following services.
