Kay Ellen Boyer, 74, passed away 9:16 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at her residence.
Born on November 11, 1942 in West Frankfort, she was the daughter of Edward P. Odle and Lois (Nelms) Zimmerman.
On April 30, 1960 in Godfrey, she married Clarence Charles Boyer. He died on July 23, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Nick Boyer (fiance', JoAnne) of Alton; daughter, Valerie Wells of Portland, OR; two granddaughters, Heather and Jennifer; one grandson, Charles; great-great grandchild, Alex; and two sisters, Diane Howard of Wood River, Kelly Martin of Fosterburg.
Her parents; husband; and a daughter, Susan Boyer preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Monday, June 5 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Michael Southcombe will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the Alton 5-A's.
