Katie Lynn Bunt, 21, passed away at 4:36 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1996 in Alton, she was a daughter of Andria K. Heinemeier and Parry Bunt.
Katie loved Hello Kitty and Johnny Depp. She enjoyed playing softball and hula hooping. She loved spending time with her boyfriend, Adam Keene, her nephew, Zayden, and the many good friends she had. Katie loved getting tattoos and helping people, and was truly loved by everyone.
She is survived by her mother Andria Heinemeier of East Alton and Andria’s fiancé, Jason Keller; a sister, Tori Bunt of Wood River; a brother, Austin Scroggins of East Alton; a cousin that was like a brother to her, Dylan Sherer of Alton; her nephew, Zayden Bea of Wood River; her grandmother, Patricia Heinemeier of Wood River; grandfather, Fredrick Heinemeier of Missouri; an aunt, Melissa Schnoeker and an uncle, Brian Heinemeier, both of Wood River; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; her father; and her three fur babies, who she loved like her own children, Señor, Tallulah, and Akela.
She was preceded in death by an uncle, Pat Bunt; her grandmother Pam Cole; and her great grandmother, Doris Watson.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, July 27 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.
