Kathryn M. Arnold, 72, passed away at 6:36 am Thursday December 13, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on April 21, 1940 in Wood River Township, IL the daughter of Courtie and Ruth (Williamson) Moss.
She married Arthur W. Arnold on August 19, 1961in Rosewood Heights, IL and he survives her.
Kathryn was a cash office assistant for K-Mart for over 27 years. She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Arthur, two daughters and their spouses: Lisa (Brian) Stillwell of Bethalto, IL, Suzanne (Chris) Andrews of Mitchell, IL, four grandchildren: Taylor Stillwell, Derrick Bell, Chris Andrews, Jr., Alexandra Fortado, one brother: Loren Moss of Alton, two sisters: Patricia Moss of Bethalto, Margie Snelson of Cottage Hills and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Daniel Arnold, two brothers: Jesse and Robert Moss, three sisters: Mary Moore, Gloria McCloud and Linda Sitze.
In celebration of her life visitation will be from 1 pm to 4 pm Sunday December 16, 2012 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral Service will be Monday December 17, 2012 at 10 am at the funeral home with Henry Lamb, officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens, in Bethalto, IL.
