Kathryn Ann “Katie” Weiss, 63, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home in Alton. Born August 29, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Skaer) Weiss. Katie was a member of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Alton. Surviving are a brother, Jim Weiss (Sharon), nephews, Michael and Adam, an aunt, Marjorie Skaer, an uncle, Oscar Skaer (Rose), a cousin and dear friend, Charlie Skaer and many more cousins. A memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the College Avenue Presbyterian Church. Reverend C. Dale Jackson will officiate.
