Kathleen Kreider

Kathleen “Kay” Kreider, 88, died at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Integrity of Alton.  She was born December 16, 1928 in Alton the daughter of Rudolph and Bernice (Stahl) Henderson. She graduated from Marquette Catholic Hight School Class of 1946.  She was a secretary for many years working for Schillers in St. Louis and she later worked for a local credit union.  She loved going to yard sales.  In 1950, she married Leonard Kreider in Alton and he preceded her in death in March of 1998.  Surviving are one brother; Marion Henderson of Creve Coeur, MO and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers; Alvin, James and Allen Henderson and one sister, Mary Kincade.  A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey with Father Steve Pohlman officiating.  Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Hope Animal Rescue in Godfrey.  Additional information and online guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
