Kathleen Henke, 75, of East Alton, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born April 29, 1945, in Woodlawn, TX to Roy and Gladys (Hortman) Thomas. Kathy worked at Rosewood Chiropractic Clinic under Dr. Sam Brinkley and Dr. Blair Alden. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing. Cooking, playing cards, and flower gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Debra) Weeks of Grafton and Tommy Furlow of Godfrey; daughter, Angela Furlow of East Alton; stepdaughter, Vickie Hopkins of Hartford, four grandchildren, Tom Redmond, Whitney Weeks, Kayla Barczewski and Katelyn Furlow; step-grandchild, Hayle Hopkins; seven great-grandchildren, Mason, Harper, Brooke, Haddie, Jordan, Karter, and Josee with an eighth, Barrett expected in June and a sister, Barbara Ringler of Tx.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Henke, and four brothers, Johnny, Jimmy, Melvin, Leroy, and Don Thomas.
