Kathleen A. Strohkirch, 63, died at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born in East St. Louis, IL on September 6, 1951.
Surviving are her Mother Virginia (Redmon) and step-father Edward Brown of O’Fallon, Il also her daughter Angela (Gregory) Hembree of Godfrey, one son; Douglas Gregory of Godfrey, four grandchildren; Myra Brand, Joseph Brand, Addison Mae Gregory, Macy Elizabeth Gregory, and one sister; Brenda Delker of O’Fallon, IL.
Kathleen had been the manager of Spencer Gifts at the Alton Square Shopping Mall. She married Robert Dale Strohkirch in Alton on August 11, 1978 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her Father Arthur Fred Harpoole Jr.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Ken Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
