Katherine Margaret Lanzerotte, died at 2:59 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. Born September 22, 1914 in LaSalle, IL, she was the daughter of John and Josephine (Rua) Caresio. She married Joseph Leonard Lanzerotte on June 18, 1939. He preceded her in death. Surviving is a son, Paul (Barbara) Lanzerotte of Wood River, a daughter, Joy K. Lanzerotte of Phoenix, AZ, and two grandchildren, Dr. Mark Lanzerotte and Kim Lanzerotte. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
