Karin Marie (Shaw) Cleaves entered into her heavenly home on December 8, 2026.
Karin battled several health issues, but passed suddenly in her home.
Karin was a graduate of Roxana High School, class of 1977. She married Fred Cleaves in 1980, and he passed away on October 16, 1999.
Karin was an avid reader and loved listening to country and gospel music, she also enjoyed sci-fi.
She wanted all her friends and family to know that they too, can make heaven their home.
Surviving are a daughter Kari (Adam) Henthorn, of Cardington, Ohio; and son Michael Cleaves (Christina) from Godfrey, IL and 7 grandchildren: Austin, Kinstin, and Lleytin Henthorn; Dakota, Lilyana, and Gracelyn Cleaves, and Matthew Birnbaum, as well as eight nieces and nephews. Karin loved and missed her children and grandchildren dearly.
Also surviving are her father Jesse Shaw of South Roxana, 3 brothers and 1 sister: Ken (Sue) Shaw of St. Louis, MO; Tim (Renae) Shaw of Nokomis, FL; Jesse (Carole) Shaw of Harrisonville, MO and Lisa Shaw-Woodard of South Roxana, IL who will miss her sister dearly.
Preceding her in death were her Ex-husband, Fred and her beloved mother, Rose Shaw, on March 5, 2022, who she also missed dearly.
