Karen Jean Hildebrand, 75, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 12:10 pm.

She was born December 24, 1945, in Litchfield, IL to Charles Suhling & Edith (Hammann) Suhling. She married David W. Hildebrand on June 6, 1965, in Gillespie, IL. She was a homemaker. Karen was a member of the Eastern Star and Home Extension.

She is survived by her spouse, David Hildebrand of Gillespie, IL, children, Sally (John) Rauzi of Carlinville, IL, Tracey (Ahmed Hildebrand-Helmy of Palm Desert, CA, grandchildren, Seth, Zachary, Casey, Aladin, 7 great-grandchildren, and sister, Sandra (James) Johnson of Carlinville, IL.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Clara Eichen.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at  Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral services are Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery, Carlinville, IL.
