Karen J. Easterley, 68, passed away at 7:30 am Monday February 6, 2012 at her residence in Medora.
She was born on September 13, 1943 in Alton, the daughter of the Richard R. and Edith E. (Hutchens) Flock
She married George Easterley on June 11, 1982 and he passed away on May 22, 2010.
A son Chrictopher E. Meisenheimer of Wood River, a brother-in-law Ken Easterley of Belleville and a very dear friend who stayed with her until death Carlita Bornes who took care of her for thirteen years survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandparents, daughter April R. Meisenheimer, and brother Elmer G. Foster.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no visitation.
Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday February 25, 2012 at 10 am at the Cornerstone Church of Godfrey on North Alby.
Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
