Karen M. Davis, 68, died at 11:37 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at La Bella of Alton.
Born March 23, 1956 in Erie PA, she was the daughter of Richard V. and Carol (McCarthy) Olewski. She married Howard W. Davis February 3. 1979 in Mt. Vernon, VA and he survives.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Jerseyville Presbyterian church. She enjoyed being a grandmother and considered it to be her greatest honor. She retired from The Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in 2016 after 20-plus years of service.
Surviving are two children Katy Davis of Little Rock Arkansas and Howard “Walter” Davis (Kim) of St. Louis. Also survived by a granddaughter; Annabelle Davis three brothers; David, Brian and Robert Olewski of Erie, PA and a Sister Eileen Zipp (Jim) of Erie, PA.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Scott Olewski.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton followed by a funeral Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at Gent Funeral Home with Daniel Drainer to officiate
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
