June (Wheeler) Shultz, beloved Mother, went to be with her husband and daughter, and our Lord, Jesus Christ at 12:22 AM Monday, May 9, 2011, at Jersey Community Hospital. June, the daughter of Frederick and Dorothy Wheeler, was born on April 12, 1930, in Bunker Hill, IL.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Shultz Breitigam of Katy, Texas; two sons, Donald N. and Mary Shultz and Steven Shultz, both of Brighton; twelve grandchildren, Tricia Dunse of Alton, Eric and Becky Shultz of Overland Park, KS, Jamie and Marie Shultz of Godfrey, Justin and Annie Breitigam of Richmond, Texas, Courtney Breitigam of Houston, Texas, Jason and Derek Adams of Fayetteville, NC, Stephanie Vail of Jerseyville and Samantha Heinz of Chicago. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
June was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. Shultz, her parents, Frederick and Dorothy Wheeler and beloved daughter, Catherine Louise Adams.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m on Thursday, May 12, at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Shipman.
Private committal services will be held at the Shipman Cemetery for family and friends at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2011 followed with a memorial service held at 10 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman.
The Rev. Gary Voss will officiate.
