June Rose Cann, 80 of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

June was born on June 8, 1939 in St. Louis; the daughter of the late Lee O. and Margaret R. (Lamka) Angle. June was a bus monitor for Illinois Central Bus Company and a loving mom who loved to take care of her family. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City and in her free time June enjoyed her days of shopping, camping, boating or a good game of bowling. June enjoyed hosting parties and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for the love of her family and all the special times they shared together.

June is survived by and will be missed by her husband of nearly 61 years; Llyod G. Cann; her children, Sandy and Bill Radford of Collinsville, IL, Randy L. and Stephanie Cann of Edwardsville, IL, Julie and Dennis Wilmsmeyer of Granite City, IL, Kellie and Chad Taylor of Granite City, IL, Andy Cann and Laura Lennington of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren, Christina Chase and Phil Henschen, Willian Radford, Michael Radford and Natalie Becker, Eric and Crystal Radford, Tyler Cann, Jack Cann, Nicholas Wilmsmeyer, Jake Wilmsmeyer, Olivia Wilmsmeyer, Analiese Wilmsmeyer, Ella Wilmsmeyer, Isa Wilmsmeyer, Josh Wilmsmeyer, Nate Wilmsmeyer, Ben Wilmsmeyer, Kristin Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Hayden Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Katelynn Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brenden Radford, Aiden Chase.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Angle.

In celebration of June’s life, visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2300 Pontoon Road in Granite City with Fr. Alfred Tumwesigye officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorial donations are suggested to DaVita of Vitas Hospice. Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City is serving the family.
