Judith Parsons

Judith K. Parsons 76, of Bethalto passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born March 18, 1941 in Raleigh, IL to Joseph Clyde and Virginia Ann (Jennings) Jones.  She married Robert W. Parsons, April 16, 1960 in Wood River; he preceded her in death November 9, 2000.  Before retiring Judy worked at several places including, McDonnel Douglas, Roxana Park District, Holland Sweet & Barr as a legal secretary and the Madison County States Attorney’s Office.She is survived by her daughter, Robin K. (Brad) Fay of Rosewood Heights; two grandchildren, Mya Fay and Nathan Fay (Courtney Inman); a great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years; brother, Joseph Jones; three sisters, Mabel Edwards, Wanda Lou Erixon and Barbara Ann Anderson and her in laws, Ernie H. and Ruth (Grant) ParsonsVisitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at noon on Wednesday.  Memorials can be made to the 5 A’s animal shelter.  Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com.
