Judith Darlene Holmes, 57, died at 8:33 pm on November 15, 2015 at St. Anthony's hospital from respiratory arrest after a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her brother Clifford Edward Parrish, her sister Cynthia Susan Wright, her nephew Benjamin Edward Parrish, her aunt Judith Maude Schneider and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her son Robert Russel Holmes, her sister April Dawn Phillips, her uncle John Schneider and her parents.
"Darlene" was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 19, 1958, to Max and Margaret Irene Holmes. She was a veteran, composed a geneology of the family and was quick to share recipes on line.
She was a long time resident in Alton, Illinois but she will be interred at Buckskin Cemetery in Poland, Indiana where she will be together again at last with her son who is buried there.
