Juanita Ann Kohler, 76, passed away at 3:30pm, on March 31, 2012 at Park Haven Nursing Home in Smithton, IL.
She was born in Raleigh, IL on December 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Herschell and Flossie (Karnes) Dooley.
She married William Leo Kohler in Alton, IL. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1995.
She was a volunteer at the book sale at the library in Alton, and enjoyed doing many different things and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Barth of Alton; one son David Kohler of California; two grandchildren, Jason and Marissa Barth; one brother Lloyd Dooley of Alton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister Ramona Dooley, and four brothers A.J. Dooley, Troyce Dooley, Charles Dooley, and Henry Dooley.
Per her wishes cremation rites where accorded.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton are in Charge of arrangements.
Graveside services will be at 11 am, on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Short Cemetery in Cottage Hills, IL, with Pastor Cook officiating.
