Joyce M. Lands, 67, of Moro, IL passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born June 1, 1949 in Alton, IL to George and Hazel (Lanier) Franklin.
She married Charles Lands November 5, 1977 in Wood River. He survives in Moro, IL.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Christy (Art) Andrews of Bethalto, IL, Patricia (Dante) Ikerman of East Alton, IL and Lisa (Tom) Hastetter of Evansville, IN; fifteen grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and three brothers: Jim (Mary) Franklin of Dorsey, IL Gary Franklin of Bunker Hill, IL and Larry Franklin of Alton, IL.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sons, Barry, Jerry and Thomas Lands and a brother, Jackie Franklin.
Mrs. Lands made a gift of her body to Washington University School of Medicine. Professional services entrusted to Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights.
