Joseph M. Panapinto, age 60, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2018, in Holdiay Shores, IL.
Joe was born September 26, 1957, in Alton, the son of Dominic and Anna (Robertson) Panapinto. He married Sandee Giles on June 25, 1988 in St. Louis, she lives on.
Joe was the owner of JMP Cycle and was a member of the Owl’s Club, and Holiday Shores. Joe was known for his love to travel, living life to the fullest, drinking vodka sodas with friends, and boating. His greatest joys were having fun with his family, friends, and talking about his boys.
In addition to his wife, Sandee, he is survived by two sons, Tony Panapinto and Justin Panapinto, both of Holiday Shores; four siblings, Gary Panapinto, Teresa and Bill Wilson, Donna and Brad Gaines, and John and Bobbi Panapinto; so many nieces and nephews; and endless friends far and wide.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, George Giles; and a niece, Jessica Wilson.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Visitation will be held again Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 9:00 am until the time of Mass Of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with Fr. John Luong, OMV officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lymphoma Society.
