Joseph “Joe” Magos, Jr., 45, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.Joe was born May 25, 1972, in Alton, the son of Joseph “Joe” and Sharon (Swingler) Magos Sr.He married Michelle D. Smith on December 1, 2012, in Holiday Shores. She survivesJoe worked for Gateway Co. for a number of years. He was Vice President of Afterlife M.C.C. in Godfrey and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, barbequing and spending time with his family and friends. Joe was a beloved man, husband, father, son and brother and will be deeply missed.In addition to his wife, survivors include seven children, Brittany Dickinson and her husband Andrew, Courtney Magos, Drelyn Wright, Austin Smith, Michael Smith, Dakota Magos, Daniel Magos; his mother, Sharon Magos; and three grandchildren, Bentley, Sariah, and Sophia.He was preceded in death by his father.Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Ray Robinson officiating.Cremation rites have been accorded.Memorials may be made to Joe’s family.Online condolences may be left at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
