Joseph Blaine Jones, 64, of Granite City, IL, passed away unexpectedly at 3:35 p.m. Wed. Oct. 10, 2018 at Gateway Regional Medical Center ER in Granite City.
He was born Aug. 2, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to the late Douglas & Doris (Upton) Jones.
On July 16, 2014, he and Mary B. Smith were married in Granite City. She survives in Granite City.
Joe was a lifelong motorcycle mechanic. He owned and operated Joe?s Hog Doc, specializing in motorcycle repair and customization.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Andrea (Matt) Foley; a granddaughter: Sophia Foley, all of Edwardsville, IL; a brother: Jimmy Jones of Granite City; a sister: Connie Nixon of Sparta, IL; and many other extended family and friends.
The family is planning a celebration of his life at a later date.
