Joseph Alphanzo Bradshaw, 76, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away on December 11, 2018 after a long illness.
Joseph was a devoted husband and beloved father. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sang Suk, daughter Elizabeth (Paul) Bradshaw-Livingston, sister Naomi Bradshaw, brother Fleming (Loraine) Bradshaw Jr. and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son Taryl Curry, father Fleming Bradshaw Sr., mother Thelma (Williams) Bradshaw, sister Loretta Lewis and two brothers Orval and Aaron Bradshaw.
Joseph was born November 8, 1942 in Edwardsville, Illinois and graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1962. He enlisted in the United States Army soon after graduation and proudly served for 26 years that included three tours of duty in Vietnam. After his military retirement as a decorated Master Sergeant, he then worked for Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for over 15 years.
Joseph will be buried with full military honors on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2 pm.
