Joseph A. "Jo Jo" Criscione, age 70, passed away at 10:10 am, Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Willow Rose Rehab & Health Center in Jerseyville.

He was born on August 10, 1939 in Wood River to Vito and Jennie (Catalano) Criscione. He married Judith Wills February 14, 1997 at the Nazarene Church in Alton. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2008.

Joe worked maintenance for the City of Alton for 32 years retiring in 2003. Jo had many friends, he never new a stranger. He was known as an artist and loved to do wood working. He enjoyed family, being with them but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

Joe is survived by three daughters and son's-in-law, Jaci & Terry Fairless of East Alton, Amy & Jesse Postlewait of Garrett, IL and Janey Criscione and Randy Riggs of Tuscola, IL; three sons and daughter's-in-law, Thomas & Denise Wills of Springfield, IL, Alan & Patty Wills of Farmersville, IL and Dwane & Michele Will of VA; thirteen grandchildren, Alyssa and Meghan Fairless, Tyler and Zachary Wills, Conner Criscione, Madilyn Riggs, Angel, Isaac and Isaiha Postlewait, Ashley, Ashley, Dillon and Jessica Wills; one great grandchild, Chase and several friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.

Funeral Services will be at 10 am on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.

Burial will be at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
