Jon Ulery

Jon Ulery, 64, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, at White Hall Nursing Home in White Hall. He was born on September 9, 1959, in St. Louis, the son of the late Robert and Doris (Holzwarth) Anderson. Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law: Robyn and William Wells of Moro, Kristyna and Troy Bell of Jerseyville, Kayti Ulery of Florissant, Missouri, his grandchildren: Trenton Ulery, Sedric Wells, Jaedyn Wells, Austin Hazard, Ashlynn Ulery, Addisyn Ulery, Riley Harrison, Daxton Ulery, Kingston Donaldson, Teagyn Donaldson, Kynadi Donaldson, Zailin Donaldson, his sisters: Terri and Steve Roe of Macomb, Illinois, Laura Van Alstine of Wood River, two brothers and sister in laws: Russ and Theresa Sutton of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, Leslie and Bobbi Jo Van Alstine of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, his step mother: Lela Ulery of Wood River, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Jon was employed for over twenty–five years at the St. Louis Regional Airport where he worked in the maintenance department, security, and as a fireman. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints in Godfrey. He was a member of the United States Judo Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Robin Ulery and a sister: Anita Wahle.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Hardin City Cemetery in Hardin, Illinois.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
