J. Michael Romano, 68, passed away Monday April 9, 2018 at home with his family by his side.
He was born on October 31, 1949 in Alton, the son of Vincent and Joan (Alben) Romano.
Michael was a member of the Alton Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy (Romano) Hall and husband Joel, Rose (Romano) Wilson and husband Jesse; one son Michael and his wife, Sarah Romano. Michael was Papa to his six grandchildren, Gabriella, Joseph, and Isabella Hall and Asher, Sonora and Jett Wilson; two sisters, Anita and her husband Harry Oertel; and Lucia (Romano) McNear and one brother, Frank and his wife Nan Romano; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy and his parents.
Visitation will be from 1 pm until time of memorial services at 2 pm Saturday April 14, 2018 at the Alton Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Joel Hall officiating.
