John E. Waldheuser, 71, passed away at 9:55 pm Tuesday May 10, 2016 Jersey Community Hospital.
He was born on August 1, 1944 in Kampsville, IL the son of Victor E. & Edna (Roberts) Waldheuser.
John married Judy Ash on August 20, 1966 and she preceded him in death on April 10, 2006.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kampsville and served in the US Navy. He retired from Quiller’s Outboard Motors after 32 years of service and was a member of the American Legion Post 1083 in Kampsville.
John is survived by one sister, Carolyn “Annie” Hagen of Brussels and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. & Billie Lee Waldheuser, and four sisters, Betty Jean Halsey, Dorothy Lee Barnes, Karen D. Blasa and Mildred M. Droege.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of Memorials Service at 10:30 am Tuesday May 17, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kampsville.
Inurnment will be held a later date.
