Jody P. Price, 59, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1967, in Alton, the son of the late Lawrence and Georgia (Longust) Price.
Survivors include two sons: Isaiah Price of Wellington, Colorado, Jacob Price of Ohama, Nebraska, a daughter: Lashea Huston of Chatham, Illinois, six sisters: Patricia Rexhausen, Mickey Bullock, Janey (Larry) Schneider, Leanne (Mark) Babor, Jolene Bauser, Dodie (Phillip) Taylor, three brothers: John Price, Larry (Sandy) Price, Dennis (Nancy) Price, Paul (Peggy) Price, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Jody was formerly employed as a lead cashier at Home Depot. Jody had a love of animals and left behind his German Shepherd, Hachi. Jody loved martial arts, enjoyed bird watching, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed the rock band KISS and saw them a few times in concert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Tom Price.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 5pm until time of memorial services at 7pm on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Jamie Spurlock will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the 5A’s and will be accepted at the funeral home.
