Joan Green

Joan M. Green passed away on February, 4, 2018.  Joan was born in Alton Il, on January 13, 1938 to William Irving and Leona Ella (Frey) Whittleman.She graduated from Alton High School and retired as a secretary from the Olin Corporation after 15 years in 1986.Joan first married Bill Webb and they had four children, Kelly (Rusty) Herrin, Mike (Debbie) Webb, Brian Webb and Mary Marshall.On June 9, 1978, she married John B. Green who survives.  John has two children, Fayma Morse and John (DeDee) Green.Joan is also survived by grandchildren, Katie (Ryan) Trusner, Cole (Maureen)Morse, Collin Morse, Austin Green, Amy (Rob) Nacion, Andy Herrin (Erin Morrow), Adam (Jamie) Herrin, John (Ashley) Webb, Brandon Marshall, Ashley Marshall and Tony Monroe; 15 great grandchildren.Joan also is survived by one sister Karen (Ed) Grady and two brothers in law William A (Ruth Ann) Green and Richard Stice, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Buddy.In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her sister Judy Stice and son in law Kent Morse. Joan has chosen cremation rites which have been accorded.A visitation will be held at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at 12:00p.m Father John Wykes, O.M.V. will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Roselawn Memory Garden in Bethalto.
