Jessica McKee

Jessica Suzanne McKee, 36, of Alton, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital.

She was born on December 17, 1989, in Alton, the daughter of the late Gordon and Kimberly (Johnson) McKee.

Jessica worked at Riverbend Energetics as a technician.

She is survived by her daughter Hadley McKee; her brothers Jeremy Spanier of North Dakota and Joshua (Madlyn) McKee of Alton; her aunts Katie Steenerson, Karen (Jerry) Spillum, Shannon (Jason) Bowman, and Marissa (Greg) Cowell; her uncles Kermit (Darleen) Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Keith Johnson, Darren McKee (Karen Callahan), and Brendan (Robin) McKee.

Jessica was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jennifer Spanier Spillers.

Visitation will be held at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4-6 PM; the funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 6PM. A private family burial will be at a later date at the Brighton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Hadley McKee Education Fund at Liberty Bank.
