Jerry Poore

Jerry Thomas Poore, 73 of East Alton, Illinois, died at 10:50 A.M. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

He was born to the late Thomas P. & Synthia (Gray) Poore on December 6, 1943 in Kampsville, Illinois.

Jerry was the owner of T.J. Drywall Company.  He was also an avid outdoors man, loving fishing and hunting.

He married Janice Lynn (Voorhees) Poore on February 2, 1980 in East Alton, Illinois.  She survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters; Ashley Poore of East Alton, Melissa Poore of Kansas City, 2 sons; Thomas (Traci) Poore of Edwardsville, Kevin Poore of Kansas City, 5 grandchildren; Domanic Weigler, Shaylin Poore, Clayton Bartony, Jessie Poore, Rhyleigh, 1 great grandchild; Mia, 1 sister; Patsy Woodard of Kansas City, Joe (Patty) Poore of Kansas City, several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the East Alton United Methodist Church.
