Jerry Lewis, 54, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at St. Anthony's Hospital after suffering complications from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Born September 14, 1962, in St. Louis County, he was the son of Vincel Leon and Lawanda Joan Lewis, who preceded him in death.

He grew up in Florissant, MO and attended North Tech High School. 

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Yost) Lewis, whom he married on July 3, 1995.

He is also survived by a daughter, Kelly (John) Kodros of Godfrey; a son, Kenny (Cristin) Choat of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Draven Choat, Alli Kodros, Gus Kodros, and Eli Choat; a brother, Mike (Darlene) Lewis of Bridgeton, MO; a sister, Tracy (Kevin) Bentley, of Auxvasse, MO; brothers-in-law, Paul Yost, Chris Yost, Jeff Yost, and David (Sue) Yost; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dave) Pratto and Jessica (Kevin) Gebeau; and 11 nieces and nephews. 

Jerry loved to garden and craft, as well as spend time with family and friends. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. 

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday October 7, 2016 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Godfrey.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
