Jerry Colley, 69, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born July 6, 1951 in Alton, he was a son of Wesley Gordon and Maudie Bell (Fralix) Colley.
He married Ellen Gibson Nov. 28, 1970. She preceded him in death Dec. 13, 2015.
A U.S. Army veteran, Jerry worked for 37 years as an electrician for Olin Corp. He retired in 2010.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Delilah Colley of Bethalto; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caitlyn, and Wesley James Colley; two brothers, Michael (Angela) Colley and Timothy Colley; and a sister-in-law, Pam Colley.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Colley.
Jerry's family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
