Jerome Edward Hall, age 63, died July 7, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
He was born on October 13, 1953 the son of Arnold and Doris (nee: Koenig) Hall,
and he married Debra Lee Ellis on February 15, 1980 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
A 1972 graduate of Jersey Community High School, he served in the United States Army and later worked in the maintenance department at the former Wood River Township Hospital, Forest Park Hospital, and V.I.P. Manor.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is also survived by his siblings, Sr. Elizabeth Ann Hall, O.S.F. of Kirkwood, MO., Carol (Steve) Skasick of Maryville, IL., Kevin (Shirley) Hall of Dow, IL, Angela (Darryl) Logsdon of Dow, IL., Timothy (Amanda) Hall of Jerseyville, IL., , Mark (Stacy) Hall of Dow, IL., Keith Hall and his companion Regina Stewart of Godfrey, IL, his nieces and nephews, Carol (Josh) Pagel, Joseph Logsdon, Mary (Carl) Powers, Michael Skasick, Jonathon, Ann Marie, Rebecca, Anthony, Lauren Hall; Katherine, Christopher, Genevieve, Matthew, and Robert Hall, his grand-nieces and nephew, Autumn Powers, Henry, Sophia, Madison Pagel.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his parents-in-law, James D. and Donna Ellis, and a brother in law; Jimmy D. Ellis, Jr.
Visitation will be on from 4 pm to 8 pm Wednesday July 12, 2107 Elias-Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday, July 13, 2107 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
Interment will follow at Wanda Cemetery.
Memorials may be American Diabetes Association or St. Mary’s Church.
