Jennie Jessie Luksan, age 83 of Edwardsville, Illinois, died at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Edwardsville Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born on December 2, 1933, in Pin Oak Township, Illinois, the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (Schlemer) Lukson. Jennie is survived by a niece Patty Jackson & husband Ralph of Edwardsville; Two great nephews, Danny Jackson & wife Jenny, Brian Jackson; one great great nephew, Sawyer Jackson; many other nieces & nephews; her beloved dog Sandy; and many friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony & Joe Lukson; and two sisters, Christine Deppe & Helen Schwear. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the funeral home with the Deacon Dan Corbett officiating.
