Jeffrey K. Gibson, 53 passed away 5:47 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born in St Louis, MO on September 1, 1963, he was the son of Bill Sutton and the late Nancy (Arrington) Sutton.

On January 1, 2010 in East Alton, he married Christine Ziegler. She survives.

He is also survived by his children, Heather Gibson, Holly (Steven) Rogers, Jacob Hei, Hannah Gibson and Jordyn Gibson; grandfather of Daden, Trevor and Kaylee; loving brother of John (Leona) Gibson, Laura (Dan) Rhine, Lisa (Joe) Baeres, Lyenette (Greg) Benenati, Diana (Tom) Huling, Kathy (Dan) Hovis, Steve Sutton and Raymond Hei.

His parents and a son, Jeffrey Scott Gibson preceded in death

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River

Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
