Jeannie Sue (Kovach) Wisnasky, 52, died at 7:44 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria, IL. after a period of declining heath.
She was born in Alton on Sept. 7, 1963, the youngest of two children born to Alex & Norma (Mans) Kovach.
Jeannie attended Delhi Elementary and graduated with the Class of 1982 from Jersey Community High School. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville, and enjoyed being around people, surfing the internet, and doting on her family, which were a constant source of pride for her.
She married Charles Wisnasky on Dec. 12, 1986 in Edwardsville, and have renewed their marriage vows several times during their 30 years together.
Surviving are her mother, Norma Kovach of Jerseyville; her husband, Charles Wisnasky of Jerseyville; two daughters & a son in law, Melissa Wisnasky and Melinda & Joshua Carpenter Sr. all of Jerseyville; a son, Michael Wisnasky of Jerseyville; two grandchildren, Joshua Jr. and Brandy; along with her brother & sister in law, William & Beth Kovach of Delhi.
Jeannie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Wisnasky; and her father, Alex Kovach.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
She will be laid to rest in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Memorials would be greatly appreciated to her family to help place a monument at her gravesite, in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
