Jean L. Hamilton, 79, passed away at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Bethalto Care Center.
She was born Nov. 15, 1929 in South Roxana to Cline and Edith (Meiser) Hamilton.
A librarian, she worked for the Roxana Library for 10 years.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her parents and a brother, Russell Hamilton preceded her in death.
A private graveside service will be held at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights.
