Janice G. Hinson, 72, of East Alton, IL passed away at 11:37 a.m. Sun. July 16, 2017 at her home.
She was born Apr. 12, 1945 in Alton, IL to the late Odis Franklin & Mabel (Brotherton) Barr.
She and Larry G. Hinson Sr. were married June 15, 1963 in East Alton. He preceded her in death Nov. 10, 2000.
Janice had retired from Olin Corp. She was an active member of Connect Church and enjoyed traveling the River Road to visit Grafton with friends.
She is survived by a daughter: Stacie (Jeff) Miller of Godfrey, IL; 2 sons: Larry (Jill) Hinson Jr. of Portland, OR and Brad (Tanya) Hinson of Hebron, KY; 7 grandchildren: Lindsay, Lauren, Morgan, Kayla, Nicholas, Emma & Abigail; 3 great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Liam & Amelia; and a sister: Linda (Dan) Hauhe of East Alton.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Wed. July 19, 2017 at Paynic Home for Funerals with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery.
