James Dennis Baucom, 86, of Heavner, OK, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Wed. Oct. 21, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Ft. Smith, AR.
He was born Sept. 28, 1934 in Menard, TX to the late Leonard & Agnes (Wickson) Baucom.
James had been an over-the-road truck driver with Bean Team, safely logging over 1 million miles. He loved to tinker and was a leather worker and enjoyed John Wayne movies.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara J. (Lawson) Baucom of Heavener, OK; a son: Virgil Baucom of KY; 2 step-daughters: Karen Martin Kee of Amarillo, TX and Paula Fleak of OK; a step-son: Keith Martin of Heavener, OK; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Ann Baucom Hearn.

Babara Joe Baucom, 84, of Heavener, OK, passed away at 11:06 p.m. Tues. Oct. 27, 2020 at her grandson's home in Granite City, IL.
She was born Oct. 5, 1936, in Keota, OK to the late Sidney Marion and Lona (Christenberry) Lawson.
Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Karen Martin Kee of Amarillo, TX and Paula Fleak of OK; a son: Keith Martin of Heavener, OK; a step-son: Virgil Baucom of KY; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Dennis Baucom; and a step-daughter: Mary Ann Baucom Hearn.
