Jacqueline "Jackie" A. Goodbrake, 72, of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
She was born on July 17, 1951, in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Jack and Rita (Coté) Norris. Jackie married Steven H. Goodbrake in Edwardsville on March 22, 1977. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2023.
Jackie enjoyed drinking coffee, working puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Jodie) Goodbrake of Bunker Hill and Devin Cooper of Edwardsville; three siblings, Matt (Stacie) Norris of Jerseyville, Nancy (Larry) Stassi of Alton, and Karen (Mike) Gale of Fairview Heights; and three grandchildren, Trenton Goodbrake and Jennifer Goodbrake, both of Bunker Hill, and Kevin Loker of Brighton.
Along with her parents and husband, Steve, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Norris.
Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded, and an inurnment will take place at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto was entrusted with assisting the family.
