Inez E. Phleger, 87, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
Born Oct. 20, 1929 in Marine, Ill., she was one of twin daughters of Earl and Elsie (Pohl) Phleger.
Inez graduated from Alton High School in 1948, going on to graduate from Central Cosmetology School in 1950. In February of 1950, Inez, along with her sister Iris, opened The Twins Beauty Shop in Fosterburg, where they had many loyal clients and friends until closing in 2009. She was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two cousins, Dennis Pohl of Marine and R.J. Pohl of Champaign, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Iris.
