Howard Albert Gaskins, 73, passed away 5:25 am, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his residence.
Born September 24, 1945 in LeRoy, IL, he was the son of Howard A. and Ruth (Miller) Gaskins.
He had been a Tooling Engineer for Caterpillar, Inc before retiring.
On May 25, 2013 in Wood River, he married Arlene Ragus. She survives.
Surviving also are a son, Kevin Gaskins of Everett, WA; three daughters, Kelly Gould of Bartonville, Sarah Gaskins of Orland Park, Erin Gaskins of Peoria; four grandchildren; two aunts and a cousin.
His parents, a sister, Amanda Gaskins, and an infant son, Shawn Gaskins, preceded in death.
Cremation services were accorded. No services have been scheduled.
Memorials may be made to the 1st Baptist Church in Wood River, 300 E. Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095
